***UPDATE: So I've been using this thing for a couple of months now and I really have to say that the range that they are claiming is just a farce. As long as you have a direct line of site and don't cover up the antenna (which is located above the track pad) then you might get 20 feet, but it's very doubt full. you'll start getting a lot of miss-keys and the track pad becomes almost useless. However, this is the only feature that I think was over stated. The rest is absolutely perfect and I just bought another one. Just please don't think that it will work through walls or from more than 10-12 feet. *****

I'm writimg this review usimg my new Rii Mini. First there seems to be a little confusion about the name of this product. the description calls it a ProMini, on the web you will find it referred to as the MagicPro Mini and the box it comes in calls it the Rii Mini. So for the purposes of this review I'm just goimg to refer to it as the Rii.

next, just as a piece of background, i got this for use with my HTPC. my monitor is my 46" plasma in my livingroom and i wanted something that would mean i didnt have juggle my mouse and keayboard around on the couch.

Lets talk about the CONS first, because that list is much shorter.

RANGE: so i found that the "30" feet claim is pretty much bupkiss, but who can see from 30 feet? at a range of about 10-12, the distance from my couch to my TV it works like a dream.

SIZE: this is both a pro and a con. i love how small it is but the placement of the trackpad on the right make typimg very difficult unless you an avid txt'er, which i am, so ive adapted pretty quickly. but its definitely something that could have been better thought out. also, the trackpad is just a shade too small so there's a lot of repositioning. finally, im not proof readimg this review because im illustrating the point that if you're going to be typimg a great deal, you're prolly goimg to end up with som significant typos.

BACK-LIGHT: finally, i have very little bad to say about the backlight. it just needs a timer and most importantly YOUR BACKLIGHT WILL NOT WORK IF YOU ARE OUT OF RANGE OF THE BLUTOOTH RECEIVER... no its not defective, its just made that way. im really glad i figured that out before trying to return it.

Now to the pros.... all i can do is say i really love this thing. the backlight makes it perfect for use in the dark, im kind of a cave dwelling techno nerd so i never have any lights on. the buttons on the keyboard are big enough and resposive enough to accomodate even the largest fingers, my friend "tiny" who is 6'7 was able to use it passably. i love that it works just like a normal keyboard. if you hit alt+F4, it closes windows just like its supposed to and Ctrl+c and +v copy and past just like they should. Alt+Tab works perfectly as well.

the built in media keys seem to work great with VLC, i never use WMP because its the devil. the track pad is actually pretty well made. its a little touchy and does have a built in acceleration. but once you adapt to it, its really pretty nice. you just have to get used to the fact that you're going to be using two hands for a lot of things. the 90 degree flip is kinda neat too. not sure its really usefull unless youre presenting, but its a cute idea.

i love the laser pointer, but then thats because im a cat owner and there is no better cat toy. otherwise i think it would be a feature that most people wont ever use.

set up is really pretty simple. since its bluetooth, its a little more complicated but you just habe to tell windows to do a seach for bluetooth devices when the icon appears in your system try and then mash the bluetooth button on the keyboard so they sync. all-in-all, not real tough.

In shourt i got this because i didnt wanna shell out the $100+ for the diNovo Mini and so far im really happy with it. i would definitely recomend it. the only reason it isnt 5 stars is because my wrist is really startimg to get sore from all this typing. but if your looking for somthing to make your HTPC a lot more fum, this is the business.

I bought the ProMini wireless keyboard to control my "low tech media center". I say low tech because my media center is just a spare computer hidden in my entertainment center connected to my big screen tv.

For this the wireless keyboard works PERFECTLY! I can watch streaming videos from the internet on the big screen while lying on the couch.

*** Note ***
THE PROMINI BLUETOOTH WIRELESS KEYBOARD COMES WITH A BLUETOOTH ADAPTER.

It doesn't say this in the description or in the documentation. The manual mentions an "optional" bluetooth adapter. It's embedded in the side of the keyboard.

Unfortunately I found it a couple of hours AFTER I ordered the bluetooth adapter recommended to buy with the keyboard. Too late to cancel the order.

This is a great little Bluetooth keyboard. As other reviewers have stated it's a little tricky to set up the phone on android (and Windows 7). The instruction booklet that came with the keyboard said there is an "android.apk" to install on Android, this isn't true (they are only drivers for Windows Mobile and Nokia). It's an easy work-around though.

Pairing Android:
1) Turn on the keyboard and long press the bluetooth key on the top left till the indicator light starts blinking
2) Click scan for devices on your Android device
3) Select the newly found Macro Keyboard
4) Enter "0000" as the pairing code on your android
5) Enter "0000" and then the "Enter" key on the keyboard to complete the pairing process.

When pairing with Windows 7 if your Bluetooth drivers create a pairing code automatically for you just enter the code shown in Windows on the keyboard followed by the enter key (or just type whatever pairing code you want in Windows and repeat it on the keyboard).

All-in-all this is a great little keyboard. I would have given it 5 stars if it did actually come with the android drivers and had better documentation.

I'm looking for a driver that will create a visual mouse cursor on my Droid X to make better use of the touchpad. If I find one I'll post it here!

Also, to go back a page in Android hit the Esc key not the Back key... just fyi...

This is the only Microsoft mouse with BlueTrack and a click motion wheel. The mouse is very responsive and has a good feel. Battery life should be good as well.

I had stopped purchasing Microsoft mice because all the new mice had smooth scrolling wheels. The wheel design is a weakness on Microsoft mice. Logitech has a much better wheel design both smooth and click motion. The click wheel is a little stiff on this mouse. If it loosens up after some use, this will be the best value small form factor wireless mouse available.

This mouse replaced a retractable corded USB "travel" mouse. It was small and basic and worked quite well for years but finally died. I wanted a small cordless mouse to replace it so I surfed Amazon and found this one. The Logitech's were nice but I like that the USB receiver dongle is small. Most others are as big as a flash drive increasing the chances of it getting broken off.

So far it does seem to work well on a variety of surfaces. It works on my laptop table of course but I've also used it on the fabric chair arm and it worked just fine.

Two other nice features are the off switch and the dongle fits in the bottom of the mouse. All in one package for ease in travel. The mouse is also just the right size, not too big or small and reasonably comfortable. After a month or so I'm quite happy with it.

Wow! I had a 3 year old Microsoft mouse that worked great, but the USB transceiver was a real pain mainly because
of the length of the thing. I broke one of my USB ports when I accidentally banged into the thing one day and on
a laptop one can ill afford to lose a USB connector right?

Anyway, the transceiver on this unit is tiny, it only sticks out maybe a 1/4 of an inch so there's no probability
of you damaging your machine by accident. And, it is extremely responsive, even more than the older design. The
drivers loaded automatically in Windows 7 and I'm back in bidness. Both left and right buttons work as they should,
and the "click" scroll is perfect. Battery life is extended too with an On/Off switch. Works practically on any
surface, the laptop frame, the couch, your jeans! The transceiver does snap into the body of the mouse for travel,
and the only minor complaint I have is that the mouse doesn't turn itself off when the transceiver is nested, you
still have to manually flip the switch to Off. No big deal. And what the heck is Bluetrack? Basically its a broader
optical beam than either laser or optical, works on more surfaces (but not glass), and there is ZERO lag, meaning
its just as responsive if not more so than laser. Don't confuse this with Bluetooth, they are not related.

One word of advice, if you fail to turn off this mouse when not in use it tends to go through batteries like Vegas
hookers through a Shriner's Convention..... always always flip the switch Off when your machine is idle. And it pays
to use a Lithium battery (1) for extended life. Microsoft deserves a slap for claiming "up to 8 month" battery life
(-1 Star) in the product info above. I'm getting about 6-8 weeks on a lithium battery under constant use so I'm
pretty happy.

This 3500 appears to be Microsoft's most reliable mouse. In surveying other reviews I've found the 4000/5000/6000
models all appear to have a problem with the USB transceiver. I don't know if Microsoft has fixed that problem on
those other designs, but you wont find that complaint for the 3500.

Update 7/12/2011: This mouse still works perfectly and is just as responsive as it was on Day 1. It doesn't "squeak",
the mouse clicks are barely audible, but you may find that the rubber casing begins to peel away from the plastic body
over time, this is easily remedied with a drop or two of Superglue. This doesn't affect comfort or performance of the
mouse. And the scroll wheel is still 100% intact and works as it should, I did note problems with the wheel on the
aforementioned 4000-6000 models.

Shipping was quick, but that's the only good thing about this case. Screen edge protector broke at a corner within 4 days. Super glued back together and it lasted another 2 days before it and the keyboard edge protector broke on the same corner. Phone was not dropped or abused in any way, just normal in and out of my belt holster. NOT recommended!

The product is just as advertised and as displayed in the picture. It is very lightweight and fits close to the phone. It will do the job of protecting the silver trim on the phone from scuffs and scratches. Though it seems like it could easily slip out of the casing it has yet to do so. You will, however need to get a seprate screen protector. Overall I would say it is worth the $2.00 I spent on the product... though as for the "durability" only time will tell..

-ECO FRIENDLY NO $10 premium data (a plus because I'm a college student)
-WiFi
-Battery life is WAY better that many smartphones.
-Very Sold feel. I like how it holds in my hand.
The case on the back scratches easily. I think it's my fault because my keys were in my pocket for a short trip to the store.

-Overall, it's made for just the average user. The screen is a decent size (how much do you really need?)
-Fits nicely in your pocket. I don't need a brick!
-Hasn't freezed yet :)
-Excited for the solar charger (sold separately on Sprint.com)

-It takes a couple of days to get used to the keyboard.Don't get it if you have big fingers. The Vibrate is a little weak, I think they designed it for notifications instead of the older (VVVVVVVVVVVV ), oh well.
-No flash support (I can live without, it can still Youtube)

I love it! Being modernly eco friendly and up to date, this phone is sweet. It's very dependable with the battery life if you know how to use Android properly. I definately recc. to a friend. In fact my brother is going to buy one.

++++++EDIT++++++++++ First time users will notice that the battery takes forever to charge. After about a week, it will charge within an hour to an hour+1/2.

I'd been anxiously awaiting the launch of the Replenish, and picked one up the day it launched. Sprint's waiving of the $10/mo premium data fee was a major factor in the decision to buy this phone.

Over all I'm pretty pleased with the phone, but we purchased it for my wife, and she likes to keep her phone on vibrate. The phone we received has one of the weakest vibrate of any phone I've seen. With the phone lying on a hard wood table you can't hear it buzz from more than a couple of feet away. In a belt pouch it is impossible to hear or feel the phone vibrate. A comparison to the display model at the local Sprint store showed little discernable difference between the strength of the vibration between the phones. Sprint said there wasn't anything they could do to increase the strength of the vibration, which I expected; I had just been hopeful that it might have just been this particular instrument.

My only other issue was trying to figure out how to get to symbols that aren't displayed on the dedicated keyboard. I didn't find it in the manual or online, but a shift-Fn-Space key combination brings up a small window with 18 symbols, including the following: []{}|<>^~%`

I still don't know whether the weak vibrate is going to be a deal killer for my wife. If it is, we may end up going back to her old phone rather than switch to a different phone and have to pay the extra $$ each month for the premium data plan.

Pros: $10/mo premium data plan waived (currently). Dedicated keyboard. Decent feel to the phone.
Cons: Very weak vibrate. Smaller display than most current Android phones.

If this phone was intended for me I'd probably give it 4 stars, for the wife it's more like a 2.5 stars.

If vibrate mode is important to you make sure you try it out. Carrying the phone in the pocket of a tight pair of jeans is about the only way I could see being able to have our phone on vibrate mode and not miss most incoming calls.

I tried this phone out at the T-Mobile store, too bad they didn't have a working model otherwise I would have gone with something else. The volume button gets in the way when I use the key pad for texting, the screen touch keypad has very small letters and with my fat fingers its difficult to get the right letter. One last dislike, I traded a Blackberry in with a track ball because the ball sucked, well I just got a new problem with the slide, you see I get dirty hands with work and moving parts are just a pain. Too bad I didn't think about it a little longer.

I'll simply echo what many have said--the case is a fantastic alternative to the soft cases offered by Verizon as well as other third-party suppliers. Easy to put on, easy to take off, and adequate protection for the body of the phone as well as the camera lens (because the lens is recessed into the case).

My major concern is that the top inner edges of the case eventually will wear scratches into your screen due to their sharpness. Fortunately, I used a Seidio screen protector, so the marks only were on it. However, if you use this "naked", you will risk damaging your screen--if this is the type of thing that bothers you.

I always had Seidio Innocases for my BlackBerries, so I really was looking forward to this case being released for the Incredible.
Luckily, it is all I had hoped it would be. It is very thin, so it doesn't add a lot to the overall thickness of the phone (unlike the bodyglove case I got at Verizon...which is crazy-thick). This case snaps on to the phone in a 2-piece top-and-bottom arrangement, rather than the standard face-and-back arrangement most cases use. As a result, it feels much more sturdy. I feel like if I were to drop the phone with this case on (I haven't yet), the case would stay on. Other cases, the face-and-back style, tend to explode on impact and send parts flying in every direction, not doing much to protect your phone.
One of the biggest reasons I got this case was because there are more accessories coming soon... the desktop cradle and the car cradle. Both will allow you to dock your phone snugly while it is still in the protective case.

EDIT: I've been informed by Seidio that the desktop cradle and car cradle have been cancelled. I'm very disappointed by this news, but I stand by my 5-star rating. It is still the best case I've come across for this phone.

Exactly as described, but a pain to replace, January 11, 2011

If you're ordering the touch screen without the housing (as this product is), I strongly recommend also purchasing:
- Proper tools
- Krazy Glue
- An exacto knife

Getting to the screen and its housing isn't bad; you can find a YouTube video showing this. Getting the dang glass off is another story - it's literally just attached with adhesive foam. You're going to need to very, very slowly separate the glass from the adhesive, scraping off the parts very carefully so you don't damage button electronics, and very carefully apply *just enough* Krazy Glue or similar adhesive.

Alternatively, you can buy the touch-screen with the housing, which I believe means no messing around, but the ones I've seen online are $100+

In other words - if you're looking at this product, know that it is not for the timid to do this replacement. However, the part was perfect, original Verizon / Droid part, and the seller did a great job with packaging and shipping immediately.

I dropped my HTC Incredible and shattered the screen. I was informed by Verizon that I had the extended warranty but not the insurance. Their suggestion? Buy a new one at full retail price or $599.99... Right...

I'll be honest, I am technically inclined and it still made me nervous to take my phone apart even with those handy instructions: [...]

It took me a couple of hours but I was able to take it apart, replace the screen and put it back together. Words of advice:

. If you're all thumbs, have someone else do it.
. Make sure to disconnect ALL ribbon cables before removing the motherboard. Be especially mindful of the small ribbon cable going through the track-pad's hole.
. You will spend most of your time removing the glued-on shattered glass from the frame so you'll want to have a waste basket near by and possibly a small vacuum.

I rated the product 4 out of 5 stars because of the lack of adhesive to hold the screen in place. Clear double sided tape works fine but I still feel it should be included.

Nevertheless my phone works flawlessly and looks like out of the box for $35 and a couple of hours of work instead of $600.

What more can I ask for?

This is my first smart phone. In the past, I've always opted for cheap and typically prepaid, but after finding I could not call an international cellphone with my cheap Tracfone, and a major disaster had occurred in the country I was flying to, I decided that having a phone that would not work in the country I was heading to, nor the ability to make cellular contact, if I chose, it was time to upgrade.

I can now make international calls to cell phones and landlines. Because the phone was unlocked, it gave me the option to choose what phone I wanted in my price range and to choose between the GSM cell providers. The wireless works great. I can use the wireless feature to access my email and other web functions without having to get charged by a wounded bull (ATT) for traffic. The qwerty keyboard is better than many I have ever seen. The keys are a lot bigger, but the phone is still smaller than the latest HTC models.

Some people have complained about the touch screen not being sensitive enough and that it's better to use a stylus. I find that it is just fine with my fingers. Yes, it doesn't seem completely solid when it's in a closed state (when the keyboard isn't in the slide-out mode), but it does feel solid when you are using the qwerty.

Also, I love the fact that I don't have to use the qwerty keyboard to dial a number - the onscreen touch numerical keyboard works fine. There are some features that I haven't explored yet, but it has great sound when you're playing music and while it's loaded with some applications I didn't care for (Myspace, Friendster etc), you don't have to keep them.

While it comes with a 2gig chip, I upgraded to an 8 gig and you can go up to 16gig, which is a nice option if you want to use it as an MP3 player.

Extremely happy with my purchase and happy to know that when I travel back to my home country (New Zealand), I will be able to simply pick up a SIM card for the local GSM provider there and slide that in to get a cheaper rate than paying international roaming charges.

This is my third Nokia phone and as usual I am very satisfied with this phone.I brought this phone when it had no reviews. Just after buying the phone, I saw some negative reviews after I purchased but still thought of giving it a try. I am happy I did not return it without trying it myself.

The basic features of this phone are really great. It has excellent signal strength and sound clarity. Also touch screen works quite fast and it is very easy to use just like other Nokia phones. The only issue with the phone is the memory which is 2GB but can be extensible up to 16GB. If you use maps, your memory will get exhausted very fast. The camera and music players are also very good.

I am overall satisfied with this phone, Pros: I like the fact I can pop my operator SIM without jailbreaking/unlocking the phone - built in wifi, full bluetooth functionality, fm radio, and gps are very nice to have and enable many interesting apps and uses. Home screen panels let you put shortcuts and content all in one place. You can use it as a mobile hotspot with the JoikuSpot app. Ovisotre has a good amount of additional apps, and there are a lot of Symbian applications that can be installed from the PC or directly in the phone. The full qwerty keyboard is very nice and the battery life is good even with moderate to heavy browsing gps navigation. you can also carry a spare battery. the camera is good by smartphone camera standards.
Cons: I have not been able to hook yahoo, hotmail or gmail account with the built in email program, I had to use a third party app called Emoze. Too bad the built in app can't be used as a regular pop3 / imap client. The built in sms messaging app does not support threaded views, you'll have to buy an additional app for that (ThreadSMS - at least it is cheap). You'll want to replace the included 2Gb micro sd card (almost filled with OviMaps files) with a bigger 4Gb or 8Gb one if you are planning on uploading many music files / videos, etc. you cannot charge the phone via the usb port. The phone does not include a stylus, you can get the job done with your fingers or nails, but for some operations it would be nice to have the extra precision.
In summary this is a nicely priced phone given the specs and features it has, and most shortcomings can be solved with additional apps, memory.

I am really not sure what is up with the bad reviews(1 star). Regardless of the bad reviews, I still purchased the product and to be honest I think it is great. People seem to complain for absolutely no reason. Don't compare a device to another device. This is not a comparison review. The product delivers as advertised.

This is my first motorola product I purchased from amazon.
-Quick delivery +

-Easy pairing. What a breeze for any non techies out there. +

-Speaker phone works great. + Everyone I spoke to so far had no clue I was on speaker phone. Its loud too except if the volume is on full blast it can be slightly distorted. Simple fix(don't put it on full volume)

-FM transmitter works fine. + Here is where I don't get some of the reviews. What do you expect? Dolby Digital, THX certified sound coming out of your car speaker from this device? You don't even get that from your handheld phone. If you find a clear FM channel and play around a bit, it will come in fine. Not 100% clear but what do you expect? Its a FM transmitter people. I think its perfectly fine and once again, nobody said they heard anything strange on the other line.

-Synch multiple devices. + This was really cool. I had two cellphones in my car and the device knew to switch back and forth between the two when I hit a button on either phone. I remember my old BMW which had bluetooth couldn't do this. I had to manually switch back and forth. So annoying while driving. This device did it no problem.

-Not sure about battery life since i've only had for a week but its seems fine. It would have been nice using mini USB charger instead of some strange connector from motorola.

-Haven't tried motospeak(speech to text) yet sorry.

Only Con: The buttons on the device aren't the best. I hit a button and doesn't seem like i'm even hitting it. FM, +, - buttons in particular. No big deal. You shouldn't have to hit buttons often anyway. I changed from 4 stars to 5 because this is just being too picky. If I could do 4.5 stars then I would but I can't so 5 stars it is.

If I were you, I would definitely purchase it. Its a sleek little device and not bad for under $80 bucks. Works like a charm. Don't listen to the rest of these people that gave 1 star reviews cause they are used to their old devices or are just whiners by nature. LOL. Works as advertised.

I own the newer Motorola Roadster and the slightly older Motorola T505. So it made sense to do a head-to-head comparison to see which unit is better.

Design: Both units are compact. The Roadster's layout is somewhat more appealing to my eye. The Roadster's controls are labeled and easy to find. They are also illuminated. The T505's controls are not as well labeled or illuminated, but it is easy to use nonetheless.

The T505 has a reversible mounting clip, so it can work with cars like my Audi, which have sun visors that swing from front-to-rear rather than the usual rear-to-front. Roadster's mounting clip is not reversible, so I must mount it backwards in order to use it. Once the unit is mounted backwards, through those easy-to-read lables and icons out the window. The T505 is made from plastic. So is the Roadster, but it also is partially covered by a nylon or poly cloth material that could prove to be less durable. While the Roadster features a more updated look, the lack of a reversible mounting clip gives a slight advantage to the T505, as the Roadster is hard to use when mounted backward.

Pairing. Both bluetooth units pair very easily, but the advantage goes to the Roadster, which announces that it is ready to pair and then does so quickly. Things couldn't be much easier then that. But the T505 is also easy to pair, just not quite as easy as Roadster. Also, the Roadster turns itself on when you enter the car, which is nice. The T505 must be turned on manually.

I paired both units with a newer Palm Pixi Plus and a slightly older Palm Treo 755p. While Roadster initially paired with this somewhat older 755p, after a couple of days it would no longer pair. I tried everything I could think of and got to pair eventually, but it later developed the same problem, dropping pairing and then refusing to pair. The T-505 paired and remained connected without issues. While the Roadster pairs easier than the T505, I had no issues with the T505 and I had several problems with Roadster's pairing. Advantage: T505.

Streaming Music: Both units can stream MP3s from your cell phone through your car stereo. When advancing from one track to the next, Roadster required me to hold down the advance button for much longer than I'd like to, creating a distraction while driving. A single touch on that key pauses the music but it must be held down for awhile to advance the track. I had to hold the button down to the point where it was annoying. Also, the advance takes longer than I'd like and is accompanied by a very loud beep and then a clicking sound. Also, with Roadster, I cannot revert to the previously played track. With the T505, I simply click on the right side button to advance and the left side button to go back. Changes from track to track only require a short touch, the change is immediate and it is not accompanied by the obnoxious beep tone or clicking noise. Advantage T505.

Speakerphone: The Roadster's built in speakerphone is louder and clearer than the T505's. If you are using the speakerphone and not streaming to FM stereo, the advantage goes to the Roadster.

Output to FM stereo: Both units have similar output strength to FM. It could be better but both units are much better than a Jabra unit that I tested earlier. I'd consider the output to FM on both units to be on the better side of acceptable. Roadster can select a specific FM frequency that you'd like for the unit to broadcast on each time. The T505 cannot do this. T505 will automatically scan for a frequency and you can select a preferred frequency, but it will generally select whatever it likes. I'd probably call this a draw, although I do prefer Roadster's frequency-selecting ability.

Call quality: I spoke with my mother on the Roadster first and then with the T505. I was driving a convertible with the top up. The car is not noisy but is slightly more so than a hardtop vehicle. The Roadster's microphone was so sensitive that it was picking up much of the background noise and forcing the duplex to me even when I wasn't speaking. That meant that I couldn't hear much of what mom said because Roadster picked up the road noise and shut off mom's conversation. The T505 didn't have this problem. Big advantage T505.

Incoming calls: When an incoming call arrives, both units announce the caller's name and number, if available. Roadster allows you to say "answer" or "ignore". With the T505, you simply tap the telephone icon to answer. Slight advantage Roadster.

Texting: It's my understanding that Roadster can read back texts and allow you to reply to them. I did not test this function, but assuming it works properly, it seems like that would be an attractive feature for someone who texts a lot. Advantage Roadster.

Before getting this I did quite a bit of searching on the web, and couldn't find anything that explains exactly how well this speakerphone works with iPhones. Several other reviews outline its main features, and a few mention that they use it with their iPhones but don't discuss the limitations of that mode, so what follows is intended just for those who hope to use it with an iPhone. (I've got the iPhone 3G, but I can't see any reason it would work differently with the iPhone 3GS or 4).

It's clearly designed for droid phones, and on those phones you can download the MotoSpeak app and have it read texts out loud - and even allows you to compose texts hands free. Still, the basic and most essential functions appear to work with any Bluetooth enabled phone, and certainly with my iPhone 3G.

It hooks easily to the sun visor of the car, and the charger plugs into the cigarette lighter. It links easily with the iPhone, once you go into the settings and enable Bluetooth. After it's linked, the Roadster recognizes your phone, and turns itself on automatically, apparently triggered by the sound of an opening or closing car door. Once on, it speaks out loud that it recognizes your phone, and even says the name of the phone it's linked to. It also tells you whether it's fully charged or not.

If you receive a call, it tells you there's an incoming call and if your phone recognizes the caller it tells you who's calling. You can then say either "Answer" or "Ignore" and it will either pick up the call or drop it. You hear the call either through a speaker built in to the Roadster or you can set it up so it transmits directly to your car stereo through an unused FM frequency. The onboard microphone picks up your voice - all you have to do is speak at an ordinary level and it works fine. My wife reported that it sounds just like it does when I'm calling her directly through the iPhone.

Pressing the call icon on the Roadster will redial your most recent call. Another feature built in to it is that you're supposed to be able to click on the dial tone button and speak a phone number - but when I press that button the Roadster tells me that the feature is unsupported by my phone. It strikes me a bit odd that the Roadster can control my iPhone enough to dial the most recent call, but not to dial a different number, but that's the way it is.

You can also play music from your phone through the Roadster - it sounds awful if you try to do it through the speaker on the Roadster, but when you've got it on the FM transmitting mode, and assuming you've got it set on a clear station the music sounds pretty decent, about as good as you'd get it from a decent but not perfect signal on a regular FM station. In my case I hook the iPhone directly to my stereo with a USB cable, so I wouldn't ever bother with this.

So what this is really useful for on my iPhone is answering calls hands free - and in my case that's the main thing I wanted it for so it works pretty well for me. If you want to make phone calls a lot while driving, or want to receive and send text with voice commands, you'll need a different kind of phone, with Android 2.2 or higher. Having said that, those features would make this an excellent device for owners of Android phones; the more basic features still make it quite useful for iPhone users like me.

Sound surprisingly good but need features. Just a USB and 3.5mm connection and can only be powered using USB. This unit needs at least batteries, rechargable battery would be better. The 350P is a better bargain if though it cost alittle more.

Had the 4gb black version for about 3-4 years. I think I paid $110 for it. Last week unfortunately it got put in the washing machine since it was in a pocket and it didn't make it. I loved it though. Much cheaper then the ipod and works just as well. I liked that I didn't have to install iTunes or anything like that. Windows Media files worked on it and using those files you could put a ton on it. Plus it had an SD slot so you could expand it more if needed. Just make sure you don't get water on it!

I have played with and tested a lot of mp3/media players and creative zen holds strong for portability, sound, and durability (screen is gorillaglass). Although it's screen is bright and clear (very nice) it is a bit on the small side (2.4 inches) for viewing movies, unless the power is out or your stuck on a bus or waiting for a ride etc. Fortybuks was an awesome deal for this portable mp3/mini movie device and since a friend got my 1st one as a gift in december, I just had to get another...just can't skate without it. The price is simply great as you can always add sd memory, not to mention my htc phone charger works to charge this zen (charges much faster than the "usb method"). Very versatile, I like versatility. The software is good. Has a nice simple clean interface easy to operate like the player, you can drop and drag if like which I do but I use the the software to transfer my dvdmovies the zen format once they are converted you can save them all and drop n drag or copy n paste them too (makes them mp4's). The radio is excellent and like others, the headphones or external speakers must be plugged in as the cord works as the antena. Battery life is also pretty good, last me an entire day at work minus 30min lunch and 2 15 min breaks. Just can't go wrong in my opinion. This little zen has made life a little better since I got it over 3years ago. Thanks creative.

I think the tablet runs well but it says it has a camera. There is not a camera. This was a major point for me to purchase.
So how are you able to skype and read barcodes if there is not a camera

I am quite new to the portable mp3 world, although I have about 250 gb of music on my computer. The only mp3 player I own is a 1 gb Samsung Pebble, which I use at the gym. This was the only mp3 player I thought I needed since both of the stereos in my vehicles have mp3 disc players. But then I started thinking...since my new Camry has an auxilary jack to hook up an mp3 device, wouldn't it be great to have one and get rid of those giant cd wallets?! The first task was to get permission from my wife to spend 250 bucks. After a little hesitation, she agreed. And then it was on to the research. Since I have such a large collection of music, the capacity of the device was number one on my list (as well as positive reviews & quality). I was pleasantly surprised to see that Apple had reissued the Classic in 160 gb form instead of the 120 gb. So after much personal debate between the Zune and the new 160 gb iPod Classic, the iPod won out.

Although the iPod is a fantastic little device with a large capacity, the software is not without its troubles. I downloaded the most current version of iTunes (verison 9) and immediately began importing my mp3 files from my hard drive. This process can take some time, but not much longer than any other media player. I was so excited to finally have the majority of my music all on one device; and have the cover art as well (I just think that is awesome)! After loading a large chunk of my files into iTunes, I noticed that only a handful of the albums had the cover art. I attempted using the "get cover art" function, but it didn't work. My only option was to track down the cover art online, right click, save, and then add the picture to the album file in iTunes. I know that it's not such a huge deal, but when you're dealing with A LOT of music, it can become quite a pain & time consuming. I later learned that the files have to be spelled exactly like they are in iTunes. And if they didn't come from iTunes in the first place, 9 times out of 10, the album art won't come up anyway. I would like to see a function that gets the cover art from other online sources, not just iTunes; and without a strict spelling criteria. There's no reason that the way I name my "The" bands should restrict the retrieval of cover art. An example being "Animals, The" instead of "The Animals."

So other than the minor annoyance with the cover art, the player itself is fantastic. I found the interface very user-friendly and intuitive, without much of a learning curve. Again, I am new to the world of iPod, but I can honestly say that I am very pleased. I wanted to write a review for people that have a large digital music collection that came mostly from ripping cd's to their computers. I am one of the people who still enjoy listening to an entire album, and is not satisfied by just downloading the single, so I still buy physical cd's & collect vinyl. I would definitely recommend the 160 gb iPod to any music fan with a large collection. Just remember to be patient when getting the artwork for all of those older albums. If you don't have a collection full of Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, or Beyonce, iTunes just may not recognize your music!

This is the second iPod I own. The first one was a 30 Mb 5th Generation Ipod Video.

First, the plus.

There are many improvements in the 7th generation comparing it to the 5th, although I think most of them were introduced with the 6th Gen. The whole Cover Flow/Genius capabilities are definetly an improvement to the previous software. The games are a nice bonus. I've only had it for three days, but I can already see that I like the new interface a lot more.

And the disk space, I mean, WOW! The ipod is basically the same size as my 30 Gb one, but it's capacity is over 5 times bigger. I am an avid music fan, have tons of music, and my musical taste ranges from ambient to heavy metal, but I think it's going to be a long time before I fill this one up. I think this is the best feature of this iPod, and by itself, the reason you should buy it.

There are also video capabilities, which have always been a plus, and some other stuff, but I didn't see a major difference from the previous versions.

But then, why did I give it 4 stars? I wanted 4.5 stars, but Amazon doesn't let me do that.

Here are the cons.

First, as previous reviewers have stated, the sound quality seems to have downgraded from the 5th Gen iPod. The sound lacks depth, the songs sound more flat. I don't mean to say that the sound is bad, because it still has a very good sound, and I've tested it with headphones, computer speakers and my car stereo. I'm just saying that the 5th Generation iPod sounds better, and the difference is quite noticeable.

The other thing, which might be just my iPod, because I didn't see other reviewers mentioning it, is that the click wheel seems to be less sensitive/responsive than the 5th Generation one. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is annoying sometimes that you try so select a song or an option on the menu and the wheel doesn't respond right away.

There's also the fact that using Cover Flow seems to make the iPod proccess slower, but then again, loading the covers of literally thousands of records is not a quick task, and you can always not use Cover Flow, so I won't hold this against the iPod.

To sum it all up. If you have a lot of music and want to carry it all with you; if 30, 60, 80 or 120 Gb is just not enough; if this is your first iPod purchase, or if you just really, really like the new interface and games (I know I did), then I highly reccomend it, and you won't be dissapointed. To me this is definetly the best music player on the market. You will need to sit down and learn how to use iTunes, but when you do, you're just going to love this little gadget.

However, if you have a 5th generation iPod that's working just fine, and you prefer sound quality to disk space, you might not want to buy this one. Just try to be more more picky with the songs you put on it, I guess.

The new 160GB iPod Classic is easily Apple Inc.'s best iPod to date, and out of all of the iPods that I own, this is my favorite.

First, the capacity of this iPod is simply unbeatable. I've yet to see another portable media player that can match the iPod Classic in capacity. I have a huge music library, and it's nice to be able to carry every song that I own on my person at all times. What's more, thanks to the iPod Classic's capacity, I also have room to carry a few videos with me, and some of my photos. If you don't like having to pick which songs to load onto your portable media player, the iPod Classic is the way to go.

The second thing that I love about this iPod can be summed up in two words: it works. The 160GB iPod Classic that was introduced in 2007 was extremely buggy, had a non-responsive Clickwheel on many units, crashed frequently, and required a hit-and-miss firmware update to stop the hard drive from spinning even when the device was "off," which often lead to dead batteries. All of these problems left the 2007 160GB iPod Classic warming shelves and earning it the infamous "honor" of being the "worst selling iPod ever," according to Apple. I'm pleased to say that the new 160GB iPod Classic released earlier this month has virtually none of these problems. There's no "spinning hard drive bug," the Clickwheel is incredibly responsive, and the device isn't crash-prone. While it's true that many of these issues were fixed with last year's iPod Classic, there hasn't been a truly functional 160GB model until now. To put it bluntly, this is the iPod that Apple should've released in 2007.

Another thing that I really like about this iPod, and the iPod Classic in general, is it's ability to double as an external hard drive. While I believe that the iPod Nano is also capable of this, the only iPod that really has enough space to function as an external hard drive is the iPod Classic. The hard drive functionality admittedly reduces the number of devices I have to carry on me at any given time. If you regularly work with large files and are considering a new iPod, the iPod Classic is the way to go, plain and simple.

So what are the caveats? Well for starters, as with every other iPod Classic, this is a hard-drive (rather than flash-memory) based device. As a result, it has moving parts which make it unsuitable for running or any physical activity that exerts mechanical shock onto the iPod. Unless you exercise constantly with your iPod though, this really shouldn't be an issue. The only other caveat, which is more of personal taste than an actual flaw, that I can find, is that Apple has not made any cosmetic changes to this device since they introduced it in 2007. Now don't get me wrong, the point of an iPod "Classic," is to retain the "Classic" design, but after seeing how much better a black Clickwheel looks on the silver iPod Nano, I'd have thought that Apple would have given the silver iPod Classic a black Clickwheel as well. However, I admit that this is entirely my personal preference and not a "flaw" per se. I've put a quick list of pros and cons together, which can be seen below:

Pros: Largest iPod Capacity-wise, long battery life, "Genius" feature, excellent value for your money, well-built, doubles as an external hard drive, and improvements to Cover Flow.

Cons: Hard Drive (rather than Flash memory) based storage medium; device is cosmetically identical to the 2007 80GB model. (I still don't understand why Apple hasn't colored the Clickwheel black on the silver model to match the iPod Nano.)

Finally, I would highly recommend this product, which is why it gets five stars from me. I don't like the iPod Nano; it's too small for my hands, and the screen is too small for my eyes. While the iPod Touch may have app store access and Wi-Fi, I find it to be a really gimmicky device, that makes for a poor portable media player, (Apple was wise to position it as a handheld game system,) and is really an "iPhone without a phone." In contrast, the iPod Classic is an excellent portable media player, it has an excellent interface, and it only costs $249 dollars. To put things in perspective, the 2009 160GB iPod Classic costs $70 dollars more than a 16GB iPod Nano, and $150 dollars less than a 64GB iPod Touch. All in all, I highly recommend this product.

This screen protector is not for the Elocity A7, it is only a universal screen protector that you have to trim down to use. Plus it only will cover the lcd, not the entire screen with the capacitive buttons. I wanted the whole screen to be covered and it did not do that since it was a universal screen protector. Its a waste of money. If you want a good screen protector that covers almost the entire device then get the Belkin screen protector for 7 inch screens. You have to trim it some but at least it covers 95% of the screen.
